Taking inspiration from the magical experience of playing during the night during her childhood and inventing parallel worlds that could go beyond the restrictions of adult reason, Varenka uses the idea of perception as the initial catalyst of her work.
She experiences reality as infinite geometrical pieces that translate into childish attempts to reflect nature. The spacial configuration and creation of Varenka’s work obey an invisible but precise plan. Inspired by infinite geometry , transitional architecture and nature, Varenka believes in the anti-static constitution of the space, and in the unstable nature of perception.
Varenka creates sculptures, drawings, digital media and outdoors and indoors murals mostly in New York and Mexico.
